Research Projects Applied XR Innovation

Lower Limb Trevol Valora

Overview

Beyond final products and MVPs, I have led technology research initiatives where XR was tested and validated in controlled, clinical, and scientific contexts. Several of these lines of work directly informed commercial solutions.

Lower Limb

XR project focused on lower-limb rehabilitation and fall prevention through body-tracking and immersive training. I led the technical vision, using Pico 4 Ultra, foot sensors, and inverse kinematics for gait and balance estimation.

Trevol

Mixed reality system for objective arm volumetric assessment in breast-cancer contexts, supporting early monitoring of lymphedema. I led technical scope and solution strategy on Meta Quest 3 with passthrough MR workflows in clinical settings.

Valora

Open-access software suite for motor-function assessment with low-cost devices. We built tools for hand dexterity, gait, posture, balance, and upper-limb mobility. I was responsible for Unity development and integrations with MATLAB and Azure Kinect.
